The idea

Considered drinks in an unhurried room.

We opened Cinder & Sable because Austin was missing a certain kind of evening — dark corners, good vinyl, and a host who treats a pour like a craft rather than a performance. Everything on our list is built from scratch: seasonal syrups, house-roasted coffee, and loose-leaf tea wherever we can find it.

On the list

A few of our signature pours.

Ember & Sable

Smoked black tea, charred pineapple, ancho, lime, smoked salt.

$9

The Midnight Oath

Cold brew, black walnut syrup, coffee bitters, orange oil.

$8

Velvet Cinder

Steamed cacao, fig syrup, cardamom, vanilla bean.

$9
Ceramic teapots on a dark counter in a warm, softly lit tea room.
The room

Low light, good vinyl, no rush.

We kept it small on purpose. Warm brass, worn leather, and a bar you can actually talk across. It's the sort of place you settle into for one drink and stay for three.

  • An after-dark room. Candlelit tables and a soundtrack that leans vinyl.
  • Made from scratch. Seasonal syrups, house-roasted coffee, fresh citrus daily.
  • Real hospitality. Hosts who remember your order and your name.

Word of mouth

What regulars say.

The kind of dark, quiet room Austin was missing. Every drink tastes considered.

Marisol T.

Ordered the Velvet Cinder twice. The staff treats drinks like craft, not theater.

Devon R.

Low light, good music, no rush. Our new anniversary spot.
